Overview
Pixel Hop is an offline 16-bit jump & run game. Core gameplay works without an account. There is no Pixel Hop backend that stores your game progress on our servers.
What data is stored on your device?
Locally on your device, the app may store:
- campaign progress, stars, best times, and unlocked levels
- coins, shop unlocks, characters, trails, and continue tokens
- endless, daily run, and boss rush high scores
- achievements, missions, streaks, and statistics
- app settings (language, audio, vibration, controls, reduced motion)
- optional notification preferences (on/off and reminder hour)
- whether ads were removed via an in-app purchase
This game data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
Offline play and network use
Campaign levels, endless mode, and most shop features work offline. The app opens network connections only for optional online features:
- Google AdMob — interstitial and rewarded ads (only while online and if ads are not removed). Google may collect advertising identifiers and related data under its own privacy terms. Where required, we show Google’s consent form (UMP) before personalized ads. You can reopen ad privacy options in Settings.
- Google Play Games (optional) — if you enable leaderboards and sign in, Google Play Games may process your Google account and submitted scores according to Google’s policies.
- Google Play Billing (optional) — if you purchase “Remove ads”, payment is handled by Google. We only store the purchase result locally on your device.
Notifications
If you enable daily reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device (for example daily run, streak, or mission reminders). We do not send push marketing messages from our own servers.
Sharing
If you choose to share a run result, your device opens the system share sheet. We do not receive the content you share.
Permissions
- Internet / network state — ads, Play Games, and Play Billing when used
- Vibrate — optional haptic feedback during gameplay
- Notifications — only if you turn on daily reminders
- Boot completed — reschedule local reminders after a device restart
Children
Pixel Hop is a family-friendly game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our own services. Ad and Play services are subject to their providers’ age and consent rules.
Data retention and deletion
Game progress remains on your device until you clear app storage or uninstall the app. Purchases tied to your Google account can be restored through Google Play according to Google’s policies.
